week 3

Another great week with Mrs. Roberts and my peers in EDET class. My task at hand this week was to learn about various words and creating a blog .We had to go home and define the words and get familiar with the words for discussion in class. We discussed the words in class with some examples as well. Some of the words were virus,antivirus,malware ,synchronous advanced search and much more. We had to create a blog as one of our tasks. Creating the blog was very hard for me.I  had to ask for assistance from my class mates. Not because I am a digital immigrant but I am working my way to become a digital native. We had to sign into blogger, create an account and named the account. We were told by our lecturer that the blog will be used to write our short reflections on a week to week basis in class. We all had to write a short welcome note as our first task of our blog and publish it for others to see.We then commented under our classmates blogs in a positive way.

I still had problems adding persons to view my blog but I worked hard as  to try and get it done.

I learnt a lot in class this week. I benefited because I got the chance to view other blogs written by our persons.

When going back in my classroom I will implement what I learnt by letting my students create their own blog and view their classmates blog and comment under each blog.
