week 6

Another fantastic week in  our EDET class.

Our task at hand was to create  power point presentation ,either a prezi presentation,mindmyster presentation or a wordle presentation.

We all did the power point presntation as a claass work.Our topic for the power point presentation was Vertebrates.We all as teachers knew that vertebrates are animals with backbones and a spinal cord.Vetebrates could be classified into five class :mammals,reptiles,amphibians.fish and birds.

We all completed the power point presenation orally in class.

Wordle,Prezi and Mindmyster were three other programmes that we had to download but he were placed in groups to complete each programme.I choose had wordle.A wordle is a visual depiction of the words contained in a  piece of text.

We had to choose a grade level and a subject.We choose a science lesson for a grade three class on Invertebrates.Invertebrates are animlas without backbones.

Each person in the group had a task to do .I had to come up with words to state the definition of invertebrates some of the words were ( insects,no backbones,exo-skeleton) and many more.Each group member had to input a piece for presentation day..There were many challenges in completing this task ,firstly was the downloading of the wordle app.We overcome this challenge in due time before presenatation day..We presented our wordle  to the class in which we all created through hard work and dedication.

We listened and takenotes of the other group presentations which was great..

I will use this in my class when bringing across many science topics.I really learnt alot in class.
